Ford Factory site in 1859, when it was known as Ellis Landing.
The Abandoned Ford Factory (check out its roof line!!!!) is not really abandoned. In fact, it's part of a newly-made National Park honoring the role played by women's labor in World War II (you can check out the Rosie the Riveter Memorial here).
Spacious, airy and full of light, the Ford building was going to be turned into a visitor center and high-tech incubator/workspace.
We're all still waiting.
