Korean War Memorial

For various reasons, it was about 2:30 am when I set out from my hotel on Dupont Circle to visit the Korean War Memorial in Washington, D.C. that November in 1998.

I can't say I really worried about wandering the streets of DC at that hour, as my route took me directly past the White House and dozens of Secret Service eyes that had nothing better to do than track my progress and wonder what the hell I was up to.

Calderesque sculpture in front of the building west of the White House

Obviously the photography was just a cover.

Isabel, who started all the trouble

Could this statue be a drop point for secret documents?

Very spooky looking maintenance shed avec obelisk

Is there a body hidden in this shed?
