Christmas fell on a Wednesday this year.  To celebrate, I brought
some take-out sushi to the park at Emeryville Marina,

and ate it as mercilessly, as pleasurably as any grebe or cormorant.

Before I went to work at the new Bay Street Mall (excuse me, 'Urban
Village') in Emeryville,

I took a walk around the Marina looking for something other
than breakwater rocks to photograph.
